APHL is proud to provide this free webinar! This program will provide attendees with the value and knowledge of implementing ISO 35001: Biorisk Management for Laboratories and Other Related Organizations. Participants will hear from three speakers on the major components of the standard, applying ISO 35001 real time with COVID-19 and achieving ISO 17025 accreditation and relations to ISO 35001 . This webinar will also be recorded and made available for those unable to listen live.

OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of the program, the participant will be able to:

Outline the major components of the ISO 35001 standard and the value of laboratory implementation
Describe different approaches to apply ISO 35001 in a laboratory setting including SARS-CoV-2 testing

AUDIENCE

This program is intended for anyone who works in or supervises a public health, clinical and academic/research laboratory. These can include clinical and public health laboratory staff, microbiology students, veterinary microbiology laboratory workers, veterinarians, medical doctors, biosafety professionals, biotech industry laboratory workers and research scientists.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program, Florida and CPH-recertification. P.A.C.E.® is accepted by all licensure states except Florida. This webinar will provide 1.0 contact hour for participants who successfully complete this training until July 15, 2022. After this date, you can no longer obtain P.A.C.E.® for this webinar.
